Privacy Policy
This policy explains what King Teen Patti collects, why, and what we do not collect. It describes the app as it actually behaves. If we change what the app collects, we change this page and the date above with it.
King Teen Patti is not a gambling app. Chips are virtual game credits. They are bought with money but cannot be sold, transferred, redeemed, withdrawn or exchanged for money or anything of value. There are no cash prizes and no payouts. Winning or losing chips has no financial consequence.
1. Who we are
King Teen Patti is published by Sun Game Studio, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Sun Game Studio is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. For anything in this policy, including a request to delete your account, write to support@sungamestudio.com.
2. What we collect
You can play as a guest, or sign in with Google or — on an iPhone or iPad — with Apple. There is no sign-up form and we never ask you for a password: guest play needs nothing from you at all, and signing in with Google or Apple hands us only what that company shows you on its own consent screen.
| What | Why | Kept |
|---|---|---|
| A device identifier, sent once when the app first starts | To recognise the same device on a later visit, so your chips and stats are still there | Never stored as given. It is hashed the moment it arrives
(SHA‑256) and only the hash is written down. We cannot
recover the original from it. |
| A display name you type, or the one Google or Apple gives us when you sign in with them | So other players at the table can see who is playing | Until you delete your account |
| If, and only if, you sign in with Google — your email address, the name and profile picture on your Google account, and the account identifier Google issues for this app | So the same account finds you on a new phone, which is the entire reason to sign in rather than play as a guest. We do not email you, and the address is never shown to other players. | Until you delete your account. Choosing Guest instead means none of this is ever sent. |
| If, and only if, you sign in with Apple — the account identifier Apple issues for this app, your name if you choose to share it, and the email address Apple gives us, which is Apple's private relay address if you choose “Hide My Email” | So the same account finds you on a new device. We do not email you, and the address is never shown to other players. | Until you delete your account. Choosing Guest instead means none of this is ever sent. |
| Game data — your chip balance, hands played, won and lost, biggest pot, lifetime winnings, chosen avatar, and when you last collected a bonus | To run the game and show your statistics, and to decide which in-game offers you can receive (a reward for playing, a welcome back after a break). Offers are worked out on our server from this game data; nothing new is collected for them. | Until you delete your account |
| Usage data for analytics — how you use the app (the screens you open, the tables and games you join and how they end, your level, the rewards you collect, the store items you look at and buy, the offers you are shown), an identifier for your game account, an identifier for this installation of the app, your device model, operating system, language and approximate country, and, on Android, your device's advertising identifier | To understand how the game is played and improve it, and to see which of our advertisements bring players to the game. Section 4 says who processes it. | At most 14 months, by Google Analytics. You can stop it at any time in Settings → Game experience → Share usage data. |
| Advertising attribution data — on Android your device's advertising identifier, the app store's referral information and an identifier for this app on your device; on an iPhone or iPad an identifier for this app on your device; and on both your device model, operating system, language and IP address, an identifier for your game account, and when you create an account, reach a new level and buy something in the store (the product and its price) | To learn which of our advertisements brought you to the game, and to measure and improve those campaigns. Section 4 says who receives it. | Under AppsFlyer's own retention rules. You can stop it at any time in Settings → Game experience → Share usage data. |
| A notification token, only if you allow notifications — the token your phone's notification service gives the app, your app language and your time-zone offset | To send the few game notifications you allow — your bonus is ready, the day's reward is waiting, a note after a long break, new items in the store; at most 4 of these in any 24 hours and never at night — and now and then an announcement from us, such as a new table or an event. Firebase Cloud Messaging delivers them (section 4). | Until you sign out or delete your account. Turning notifications off — in Settings → Game experience → Notifications, or in your phone's settings — stops them at once. |
| A crash report, only if you choose to send one — what went wrong in the app, its recent log lines, the app version, your device model and operating system, and any note you write | To find and fix the problem. After the app closes unexpectedly it asks whether to send a report; nothing is sent unless you tap Send. No IP address is stored with it. | Only for as long as we need it to fix the problem |
| A record of each purchase — the product bought and the receipt or transaction identifier Google Play or the App Store gives us | To credit what you paid for, and to make sure the same receipt is never credited twice | Kept as a financial record |
| Table chat you send | To show it to the other players at your table | Held in memory only, never written to our database. The last 100 messages at a table are kept so someone joining can see the conversation; they are gone when the table closes or the server restarts. |
3. What we do not collect
- No phone number, postal address or date of birth — ever, by any route. No name or email address either, unless you choose to sign in with Google or Apple, in which case section 2 says exactly what that gives us.
- Nothing else from your Google or Apple account. Signing in grants us your basic profile only — no Gmail, no Drive, no iCloud, no contacts, no calendar.
- No location of any kind. The app never requests location access. (The time-zone offset sent with a notification token says only how far your clock is from UTC, so that notifications never arrive at night.)
- No contacts, photos, files, microphone or camera. The app never asks for access to any of them.
- No payment card details. Google Play or the App Store takes the payment; we never see the card, the bank or the amount charged.
- No advertising in the app. On Android the app reads the device's advertising identifier only to measure our own advertising — to see which of our advertisements brought players to the game — and never uses it to show you advertising of any kind (section 4).
- No name, email address, chat message or chip balance is ever sent to analytics or advertising attribution.
4. Third parties
Analytics
To understand how King Teen Patti is played and to improve it, the app uses Google Analytics for Firebase, a service of Google LLC, which processes the usage data described in section 2 on our behalf. We do not use it to show you personalised advertising, and no remarketing audiences are built from it. You can stop the app sending it at any time in Settings → Game experience → Share usage data; the app then stops collecting on that device. Google's handling of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Advertising attribution
When we advertise King Teen Patti, we use AppsFlyer, a service of AppsFlyer Ltd., to learn which of our advertisements brought you to the game. When you install and open the app, AppsFlyer receives the advertising attribution data described in section 2: on Android your device's advertising identifier and the app store's referral information, on both your device model, operating system, language and IP address, and an identifier for your game account. It also learns when you create an account, reach a new level and buy something in the store (the product and its price, never your payment details). AppsFlyer shares the fact of your install and these events with the advertising network that showed you our advertisement (for example Unity Ads), so that we can measure and improve our campaigns. We do not send your name, email address, chat messages or the chips in your wallet. You can stop the app sending this information at any time in Settings → Game experience → Share usage data. AppsFlyer processes it under its own privacy policy.
There is no advertising in the app, and no tracking beyond the analytics and attribution above. Crash reports go only to our own server, and only when you choose to send one.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, they are delivered by Firebase Cloud Messaging, a service of Google LLC — on an iPhone or iPad through Apple's push notification service. They receive the notification token and the notification itself (its title and text), never your name, your chips or your game data. Google's handling is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Payments and sign-in
On Android, three Google services are involved:
- Google Play Billing processes chip purchases. Google handles the payment and tells our server that a purchase completed, so the chips can be added. Google's handling of your payment is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
- Google Play tells the app when a newer version is available, so it can ask you to update.
- Google Sign‑In is what asks whether you agree to share your Google profile with this app. It runs only if you choose that button; playing as a guest never calls it.
On an iPhone or iPad, two Apple services are involved, and Google Sign‑In if you choose that button:
- In‑App Purchase (the App Store) processes purchases. Apple handles the payment and gives the app a signed record that a purchase completed, which our server checks so that what you bought can be added. Apple's handling of your payment is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy.
- Sign in with Apple is what asks whether you agree to share your name and email address with this app. It runs only if you choose that button; playing as a guest never calls it.
We do not sell your data. Google processes analytics data and delivers notifications only on our behalf. The one sharing with an advertising network is the attribution described above: AppsFlyer passes the fact of your install and the events listed there to the network that showed you our advertisement. We share your data with no one else, and disclose it only if the law requires it.
5. Where it is kept, and how it is protected
Data is held on our servers in Mumbai, India, and is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) between the app and the server. Access to the server is restricted to the people who run the game. Analytics data is held by Google, and attribution data by AppsFlyer; each may process it outside India under its own safeguards.
6. Deleting your account
You can have your account and everything attached to it deleted, in either of two ways. In the app, open Settings from the lobby and choose Delete my account; it takes effect immediately. If you no longer have the app installed, use the account deletion page instead, or write to support@sungamestudio.com from the device you play on, telling us the display name you play under, and we will delete it for you.
We delete your display name, your avatar choice, your statistics, your chip balance, the hash of your device identifier, your notification token and — if you signed in with Google or Apple — your email address, your profile picture and the account identifier Google or Apple issued, which frees that account to start again from scratch. Purchase records are kept, with your identity removed, because tax and accounting law requires a record of transactions. Deletion is permanent: purchased chips are not refunded and the account cannot be recovered.
When your account is deleted, the app stops sending its identifier to Google Analytics and AppsFlyer. Ask us and we will also delete the analytics and attribution data linked to it.
Uninstalling the app does not delete your account, because the account lives on our server. Ask us and we will delete it.
7. Children
King Teen Patti is a card game with simulated gambling and is not directed at children. It is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has created an account, write to us and we will delete it.
8. Your rights
You may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to support@sungamestudio.com and we will respond within 30 days. This applies wherever you are; if you are in India, it is also what the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 entitles you to.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect.
